Waveaw -- The Water Partner

     The favorite of mine of the "Starter" Pokemon is known as Waveaw! Waveaw became instantly fond of me, and I accepted her as my friend! She is amazingly cute! Here is her entry:

Ability Description(s):
Foggy Entrance - When the Pokemon enters battle, its team developes a Misty status, raising the evasiveness of its team by 25%

Evolves into: Kitqua
Evolves from: Aquatic Egg
Description: Waveaw are born in the bottom of lakes and learn to evaporate into the water. The bottle they keep around their necks heats up and emits fog when Waveaw get ready to battle. When they evolve into Kitqua, they are more fierce. They develope the ability to sink into the darkness. When they evolve from Kitqua into Tsunamat, they are fierce predators that can evaporate into gas.

Candelops -- The Fire Partner

      The Fire Pokemon, as Miss Alaenius told me, is called Candelops. Candelops was a shy little fellow, but  grew fond of me rather quickly. To Professor Juniper, he was instantly in love with! Juniper, fond of nicknaming her Pokemon, decided to name him Candy. Well, here is his Pokedex entry:

Ability(ies): Flashflare

Ability Description(s):

Flashflare - If the enemy uses a Fire type move on the Pokemon, the enemy's accuracy falls and the Pokemon's evasivness rises.

Gender: Male 50%, Female 50%

Evolves into: Tri-Torch

Evolves from: Ancient Egg

Description: Living deep in dark caves, Candelops' horns give off small light for them to see. Candelops are usually led by a single Triceri-Plosion and a few Tri-Torches. When Candelops evolve into Tri-Torches, they leave their hoards to train themselves, and start a new hoard as a Triceri-Plosion.

Wianora -- The Grass Partner

       Well, as our expedition started, we figured we better start discovering Pokemon, when three Pokemon came from Taren Village. Wianora, the Grass Pokemon, was the first that I studied. Here is my Pokedex Entry:

Class: Moon Sprite Pokemon

Type(s): Grass

Ability(ies): Overgrow (If Starter)/Plantation (If found in Wild)

Ability Description(s):

Overgrow - Powers up Grass-type moves when in a pinch.

Plantation - The Pokemon will never be effected by weather, and when it is Rainy weather, the Pokemon will regain its health.

Height: 1'5

Weight: 34 lbs

Gender: Male 50%, Female 50%

Evolves into: Waexis

Evolves from: Foresting Egg

Description: Wianora are Pokemon based on the Moon. When the moon is Waning, the Wianora of Araino are said to come out of hiding, wherever it is they hide, and enjoy the moonlit treetops. Wianora and Waexis are led by one Lunanin, the Guardian Pixie Pokemon. Wianora disappear when the moon Waxes, and Waexis disappear when the moon Wanes. Though both the Pokemon are able to come out during the day, Lunanin, unless having trust of a Trainer, is only able to come out during the night.

Taren Village's Chief

        Would you believe our luck! We stumbled upon many Pokemon in Taren Village, and the Chief of the village happens to be one of the most powerful Pokemon in this region! Able to speak perfect English, Omegotomb told us all about Araino! I was intrigued to find that Omegotomb had three different types! I entered him in my Pokedex, and here is the entry:

Type(s): Dark/Psychic/Ghost
Ability(ies): Over Shadow
Ability Description(s):
Over Shadow - When Omegotomb is hit by a super effective move, the attacker is given a Traitor status -- The Pokemon can only attack its allies or raise the stats of Omegotomb.
Height(In Skull-Stone): 7 inch
Height(Out of Skull-Stone): 7'6
Weight(All Times): 14 lbs (Yes, being made of spirits doesnt make you gain weight!)
Gender: Male N/A, Female N/A
Evolves into: N/A
Evolves from: Spiritomb, When given a Spiritual Orb at lvl. 63 (Spiritomb Specific Item (Only Found in Araino Region))
Description: Omegotomb is an ancient Pokemon, made of over five thousand spirits. Though its in its previous form of Spiritomb it was somewhat evil, Omegotomb has learned to control its powers and its mind, and developed a Psychic mind. With its ability, it developed more emotional feelings, and most Omegotombs are good. Some, however, are the most feared Pokemon of Araino. Most Omegotomb are so wise that they have started civilization. However, no Spiritomb live in Araino, so there is an exceptionally small number of Omegotomb. No one knows how they got there in the first place.

Miss Alaenius

     When we arrived in Araino, we were intrigued by what seemed like a Mrs. Mime. The Pokemon, able to communicate with us through telepathy, welcomed us to Araino, telling us she had not had visitors to her tiny Pokemon Village in nearly two-hundred years. We were intrigued that her age was one-thousand, five-hundred and forty-four years old. Helping us set up camp, I studied her and learned as much about her, then she told me about herself. I learned a lot more than I thought I would so soon! Here is my Pokedex Entry for Miss Alaenius:

Class: Actress Pokemon/Dancing Pokemon
Type(s): Psychic/Fighting
Ability(ies): Hands On/Cleaner-Upper
Ability Description(s):
Hands On - If the enemy Pokemon is holding an item, Miss Alaenius will steal it at the beginning of the battle,   but it's effect is cut in half if she has to use it.
Cleaner-Upper  - Moves that hit Pokemon coming into battle (Stealth Stone, Toxic Spikes, Spikes, etc.) are cleaned up and removed from the fight.
Height: 6'2
Weight: 120 lbs
Gender: Male 0%, Female 100%
Evolves into: N/A
Evolves from: Female Mime Jr. gaining full trust while holding a Dancer's Necklace (Mime Jr. + Meloetta specific item)
Description: Miss Alaenius are very rare Pokemon, usually only able to evolve from Mime Jr. when they have a trainer. When they evolve, unless they are killed in a brutal battle, they will live forever. Older Miss Alaenius' Psychic powers are so advanced that they can speak any language in the world with their Telepathy, but they cannot say anything besides their own name when they speak aloud. They usually never speak.

Our Landing

    On our landing in the Araino Region, the other Professors and I were astonished. Never seen with human eyes, there were tons and tons of new Pokemon! And I'd love to share them all with you! This is my first, as Professor Juniper calls it, 'Post,' so it'll tell you about this Blog! This Blog is about Pokemon that we've found, and the beauty of the region!
